It's a surge protector. Either it works or your in trouble when the next storm comes. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

Had purchased this for another group of electronics that needed a surge protector, but ended up returning it ONLY because I wanted one that had (12) outlets. This one has (8) and I definitely would have kept it had I NOT needed the additional room for more devices to be plugged in. Monster is a solid company for surge protectors and UPS.

my husband needed multiple outlets plus usb ports.

This 8 outlet surge protector is awesome. Easy to use, plenty of space to hook things in. Easy to tell when it’s on or off...many are not that easy.

I love this surge protector. 2 of the outlets have space around them so that odd sized plugs fit. Also love that there are 2 USB ports to charge items as well.

This power strip has been great! My favorite aspect is the USB ports on it and the amount of space between each outlet. I plan to buy a few more just like it!

I won't buy any other brand of surge protector. The Monster products are well designed (2 rows of outlets instead of 1 long row) and they are very reliable

This surge protector is what I was looking for in a device to help protect my new laptop. It has 8 outlets plus usb charging ports for a cell phone and a tablet.

Cant go wrong with monster cords and surge protectors. This is a great product and I love that they now have usb ports great to charge phone, ipod, laptop etc.

Power cord is sturdy and tough. We have not had any problems with it! I am confident that it will continue to do its job protecting our tech devices!

Haven't had it very long and don't use the USB chargers so not much to say about it. It hasn't burnt my house down..

Very simple, easy to use, sturdy power strip. Just the right amount of outlets and USB ports for college with all the gadgets we carry around nowadays.

This power strip works great for charging iPods and tablets. We used it in conjunction with a 4 USB charging adapter we also purchased at Best Buy.

I like it, because for a little more money i have everything on one, the all the features are useful and the main reason for this item work properly.

I bought this surge protector for the living room. We use the USB to charge phones and the surge protector to charge laptops and other devices.

this is a rugged piece of gear with just the right number of sockets and not too crowded when they're filled.

No longer do you need an adapter to charge your phone. Just plug in your chord to one of two USB and charge it. It's great for the living room.

functions as expected... it's a surge protector so I really won't know until my house gets hit by lightening... which I really hope doesn't happen

Was able to get this price matched and so far working well with all my tv entertainment needs. Wish it had a space saving wall connection
