I bought this to try to clean up a number of power cords and expand my capability for new equipment. The surge protector allowed me to consolidate my power and have protection for all devices - great addition to my entertainment area.

The USB ports charge a little slower than connecting directly to an outlet, but most people already know that. The convenience is nice though. I purchased to replace a surge protector demolished by my dog and am satisfied so far.

I am hopeful this Surge Protector will solve my issues. It is replacing one that was hit by lightning - which I thought they were made to protect. My previous one evidently didn't offer this protection - I hope this one will.

Purchased this item because it not only prevent power surge in your sockets but also has an element to protect fires from lightning strikes to your electronics, and it provides some type of compensation if the surge protector fails.

Works very well in the space we needed it, we have experienced no problems even with a power surge.

I got the surge protector because we loose power every once in a while. It came in very handy when we recently lost power. Everything was safe and the security of having a new and good power strip helped me with peace of mind.

What I needed, wanted the two USB ports so I wouldn't have to use wall warts. Easy pesy.

It's a nice surge protector however, I have to stop using because the device I plugged needs to plug directly to the outlet to work properly.

The item holds to its name the power has gone off many times and my items are still intact.

My friend visited me here in the US returning from Beijing China next stop would be Toronto. I thought this would be a perfect gift since I have a Garmin and it has helped me on my travel's and it is easy to upload new maps.

My last surge protector did its job, but alas failed. This protector has had several power failures and still works properly. No equipment failures to date. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Price was reasonable.

I really like this Surge Protector. First of all the width is nice, it sits level and doesn't turn over all the time like the narrow ones tend to do. It also has a direct charging place for both a cell phone and a tablet.

This was an upgrade from an Apc modle that was under recall. I especially like the usb connections for our smartphones. The housing is made of metal so if you were to have a major surge it won't melt unlike plastic.

Works well, and came with warranty. A little pricy but you pay for what you get.

We had issues with our power cord. I went to Best Buy and spoke to a floor person. He explained to me that I was not using the proper cord for my needs. I purchased this one and we have not had any more issues.

Seems to be doing a good job of protecting my equipment. Very pleased so far.

Great product and it was on sale..can't beat that! Monster quality at a decent price.

Has more usable outlets for those clanky wall wart devices. You know the ones I mean! Out of the eight outlets provided fully six can be used for oversized plugs. More than most power strips this size.

Been using it and it never disappoint. Its reliable and worth the price.

So far with all the thunder storms we have, I have had no problem with the new Monster-Core Power Surge Protector. It had plenty of spaces for all my computer and printer plugs. Good price too.
