Loved Monster's Inc. and this holds up to it. It is a prequel with some great background stories building the characters.

This is another top notch 3D blu-ray from Pixar. The graphical presentation is fantastic, along with a great audio track. The 3D effects are done very well and add to the overall movie (expect impressive depth, with few pop out effects).

I purchased Monsters University without seeing it because I love Monsters Inc. The sequel to my beloved monster tale is decent, the animation is amazing as always, but the plot isn't quite as engaging as the first movie.
