It's not my favorite kids movie but my son likes it. It's more slapstick type of comedy so it doesn't appeal to adults as well as some kids movies do. It does say the word boobies which isn't really something you want your kid repeating but it wasn't a big deal.

Best Buy describes this disc as being 3D, but it is not. It's the little bonus movie that plays as a special feature that is advertised as being in 3D. This particular Monsters vs. Aliens disc is not 3D! But there is one out there for around $30.

Funny and cute. Love the comedy and all the voices! All kinds of actors took part in this movie. A most unlikely group, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, along with Reese Witherspoon saves the world.

If my kids watch it more than once a month it's a keeper...so far we have watched it twice. Could use better story line in my opinion but that's just me.

Average no Toy Story but has its momments. Five dollar bin.

The movie itself is quite a bit of fun with a lot of different settings to keep your eyes happy. It's not gushing with heart (thank God) but has just the right amount to make you care for the characters. What's most important for this release is the 3D! It looks great with an added dimension, which is especially important when you have a 40 foot tall (or whatever she is) woman! It really sells it. My 14 year old sister said of many scenes "wow that's awesome!" so the 3D was much approved. After watching it, she repeated how cool the 3D was, and how much she loves the movie. So, even though I normally don't like to spend $30 on a movie, this one was well worth it.

Yes, people Fresno CA is just loads of fun….NOT It is Channel 24 NOT 23 and channel 24 is our NBC station. Loved the films comments getting the real meaning of this city in it. An enjoyable film. Did not care for anyone in the voice cast. But, it is fun and you do not have to be a kid to enjoy it. NOT up to the standard of classic Disney or Disney/Pixar films. Compare the film to the "Ice Age" films on humor, style, etc. Let’s see, they used "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "Beverly Hills Cop" music in the film. The President character going after a funny Bush….meaning NOT TOO BRIGHT. Military said they were holding some of the monsters for 50 years…..this character did NOT look that old. Just, as said above, an enjoyable film. Normal extras on it.

Ok I'ts a good movie, but the description is a bit misleading. The description says Monsters vs. Aliens - Widescreen Dubbed Subtitle 3-D. So I'm thinking this is like the movie "Coraline" where you have the option of viewing the feature film in standard viewing or 3-D. Not this one. The only 3-D features are uder the Extras and a little box pops up that says "put on your 3-D glasses. You can watch the movie with the glasses on, but it's not the full 3-D version. Kinda lame if you ask me. Aside from that, it is a great move, jand I do recommend it, just don't set your sights on it being in true 3-D.

Monsters vs. Aliens takes on some of the greatest classic monsters of all time (The Fly, The Blob, Creature from the Black Lagoon, pick your Japanese irradiated mutant insect, Invisible Man and the Giant Woman) and mixes it with today's space invasion blockbuster, adds a ton of spoofing on each genre and tops it off with a bit of government conspiracy fun. Great movie to watch with your kids, sci fi friends, whoever. It is hilarious! Be sure to get it with the Bob's Big Break short. More hilarity!

I watched this with my nephew and I was surprised how good it is. It's one of the few kids movies that was better then I was expecting.

Got to say this movie was hilarious. I was dying at Seth Rogans character. Really good story and great animations. Would definitely see this again. Its rare to find a kids movie that really appeals to adults as well. Great movie.

This never gets the recognition it deserves as a 3d movie, it really looks good with the added dimension in relation to the giants, its not my favorite movie but it's so good to watch just for the 3d alone.
