    Would recommend getting coverage outside of geek squads best buy for better value and not get upsold to unnecessary things like office and anti-virus software.

    I bought my pixel 3a in January for ADH coverage for two years. Someone stole my phone. I wasn't expecting a replacement, but I think it is reasonable that best buy allows for migrating plans to the new device so long as it is the same device and for the original duration when I purchase the replacement from best buy. Apparently, this is not something they offer, and because the value threshold does not qualify for lost/theft protection, I have been hosed out of 18 months of my plan.

    My phone was stolen. I stopped by best buy and asked for the geek squad staff to help me cancel my old phone and submit a claim..all under the geek squad plan. Turns out they outsourced it to a complete 3rd party. I am not happy with GEEK SQUAD

    when i had an issue with my phone and I went to them because I was paying for their plan, they wanted me to pay close to 200 dollars because their insurance plan didn't cover for a new phone

    I broke my screen and it has been a huge ordeal. First off you cant just go in the store u have to have an appointment and good luck being at a time that's works for you. Then they leave me on hold for half an hour. I had to hang up and call back. This hff hasn't been fun.

    Do not buy geek squad protection plan! I had an awful experience here. I needed my galaxyA12 replaced just 11 months after I purchased it new in store. They made it so difficult to get a replacement (refurbished). Awful in-store help, terrible chat experience(useless), and mediocre phone support. You think going into a store helps?… nope they can’t/won’t help. You’d like/expect to get it replaced or at least credit in store ? Nope, gotta wait a week for a referb.
