Applecare from best buy does not include lost or stolen. If you want to upgrade from tech support package you have to pay for full price vs just upgrade

Well, the AppleCare is free if you have the Best Buy membership be cautious. If the membership expires during the time that the Apple warranty should be covering the equipment it will no longer be covered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

First: WiFi, Battery, software, and screen issues with my iPhone and Best Buy’s support counter has NEVER been able to fix any of my issues. They don’t even try. They just send me to the Apple Store. Even when I asked if they would install a screen protector (I purchased from them) they were like, “well….we don’t really want to….you’ll probably do a better job than us….it will take a couple hours…”. Then the dudes just went back to standing around chatting with each other.
I don’t even bother any more. I just go to the Apple Store…which honestly isn’t any better. They tried to fix my phone 3 times before I gave up. Each time their suggestion is “well…upgrading to a new phone may be an option.” 2 hours for them to give me the same phone back with the same issues.
When I was having battery issues and their answer was “plug it into a charger in your car and rev the engine to supercharge your phone” it dawned on me how liberally Apple uses the word Genius.

Applecare + covers so much! The only hassle is that sometimes its a lot easier to take your products straight to the apple store so that you dont have to deal with shipping and waiting for replacement items.
