If Best Buy wants to offer an extended warranty that covers EVERYTHING that you purchase from them (they do), then that's one thing. But for Apple to say how tough their phones are only to offer, IMHO, a costly extended warranty for each device sold seems somewhat disingenuous. They know the warranty claims and they are NOT selling these extended warranties at a loss. If you're a real klutz and have a history of trashing your iPhones or Apple devices, then sure, the Apple Care may be worth it. If you're Joe average, then the better long-term option is to buy -no- extended warranty and use the money that you save to cover the cost of repair of the few deivces/appliances that need it. IMHO, at least.
