Bought computer on december 8 and did not work right out of the box Best buy Geek squad tried to fix it and when they could not they replaced the unit with no charge.

Certain items don't need insurance. I'm glad I got this one. My laptop fell off the recliner and had a dent in the case. I paid my deductible, Best Buy sent it off and I got it back in new to me condition. Worth the extra insurance.

The Geek Squad people were very helpful in setting up our new laptop. Miss the convenience of home service visits, but still got a lot for our yearly fee… at least this year, so we will renew it for added protection on our electronics.
