purchased 2 year protection and happy about it for safety

I love this kind of coverage you get back 5% on your purchases you get a two year warranty and you can bring stuff in to get fixed and it’s free

I am disappointed in this purchase. When I purchased it there were many more reasons for having it. Years ago ,when I purchased it (it had a different name then), it covered any tech product (from BestBuy or not) without a fee to come to the house. Then the plan changed to only cover tech products purchased from BestBuy and any tech needs in the home meant a $50 travel fee--for each tech issue and you could only schedule one tech issue per trip out. I've largely been disappointed with the Geek Squad Services because I don't feel confident about their expertise and if there is any problem they can fix quickly (in 20 minutes or less), I have to leave my device--that's horribly inconvenient sometimes. About the only benefit is an extended warranty on any BestBuy product purchase and that applies only as long as the TotalTech Contract remains in force. When it terminates, so does the product extended warranty.

My old laptop served me well for 8 years (Acer Swift 3). I was in a rush to buy a new one, but I wanted to get one that would at least work better than my old one. I narrowed my search to top brands and ended up deciding for this particular product. I don't do multitasking with heavy softwares, just regular office work and some data analysis softwares for reasearch purposes. I was hesitant regarding Intel vs AMD, because I've always use laptops and desktops computers with Intel processors but I have to admit that I'm gladly surprised and satisfied. Would by this particular product again without a doubt. Perfect size, reliable for the time being. I definitely recommed it.

This membership has nearly paid for itself in just the set-up and transfer items. Techs were extremely helpful in explaining how the entire xfr process would work and be available.

We opted for this service just in case anything stops working by accident.

Grateful for this considering needed a tech to come out within a week of the product being in our home.

First time using the privacy protector glass screen, works great for privacy still getting use to needing to have my phone flat in front of me to see the screen.

Have not had to use much but glad to have it because hardware is expensive to get worked on .

Sad to say, my experience at the local Best Buy Store was horrible. Per the web site, the item I wanted (Dell Insperion 14” 2 in 1) was in stock so I ventured over to the store to purchase the laptop. We were placed in the “queue” for a salesperson who eventually showed up 30-40 minutes later. When I advised that I had a specific laptop in mind (which was supposedly in stock) she came back and advised there were none in stock. Understand stock levels can vary from actual to indicated BUT waiting JUST to speak with a salesperson for nearly 45 minutes was ridiculous - infuriating! I returned home and placed an online order. I don’t know if this is the NEW business model for Best Buy (make customers WAIT a ridiculous amount of time for service) but if it is, your brick and mortar stores are DOOMED.

This Lenovo Yogi laptop has been terrific. The battery life is very good and the screen is vibrant. It was a nice upgrade from Windows 10 and the Best Buy sale was great. If I see another Best Buy sale for same or equivalent, I will purchase one or two more for my family members. Apparently Lenovo runs special manufacturing runs for Best Buy during the year.

Best Buy Protection is there if you need it, therefore giving you piece of mind.

Can’t beat buying one time and having everything covered !

This computer is fast, meeting my expectations. I use it for both school and work with multiple windows and software programs open at a time, and it doesn’t disappoint at all in terms of speed. I love the touchscreen, lit keyboard, and large screen size, which are features I cannot live without in a laptop. Not to mention, the screen pixels is great and projects a crisp image.

My previous laptop was destroyed accidentally going through TSA at the airport. Thankfully this protection plan covered the damage and allowed me to replace with a new laptop. This is a must for any significant purchase!

The Geek Squad has some awesome and amazing people who has a patient, experience, understanding and caring heart. They don’t talk above your head. They take their time in making sure that I was completely satisfied with the experience that I received from them. I thank God for honesty and integrity that they have shown me.

I think it is the only smart way to go. Why spend your money on something nice to not protect it ?

Covers my appliance and the little gadgets. The yearly cost is better than just covering 1 appliance for an extended year or 2.
