Protection has been great. Had to get a laptop fixed. Took extra time because the manufacturer didnt have parts for a 1 year old laptop. Geeksquad got a (better) third party motherboard and fixed it up.

This is my first Lenovo laptop and i must say, bravo! It's a large machine at first glance but the slim build and power under the hood are very much appreciated. This is not my go-to gaming rig but with my traveling schedule the Slim 7i is very much overkill for my needs but an extremly useful tool to have. While the 3060 GPU might be yesterday's tech, it's still a work horse on 1080 high graphics setting for most games out there. Full disclaimer; I bought this unit as open box with a tough price to beat so millage may vary depending on your budget as new. Also, be careful upgrading memory as the small clips holding the mem heat shield are too easy to break. Dont ask me how I know. Pros: Plenty fast Good upgradeability for a laptop Good screen resolution and decent nits Good keyboard Number key pad if your into it Low key RGB lighting (doesnt look like a walking rainbow) Cons: One stick of memory is sodered Can get hot, but to be expected Can get loud, but to be expected Battery life, but to be expected (not an issue since gaming mostly takes place when power cord is connected) Still large even in Slim factor form Speakers are ok

I highly recommend getting Best Buy protection , you never know when you're gonna drop your phone or leave it on top of your car.

Protection plan is needed for products in which you've made an investment. Your security of professional help if needed.

These plans are quite expensive, especially for a new laptop under warranty, but for someone who would not feel comfortable setting up a new laptop and copying over thumb drives and old laptops, it’s the way to go.

I honestly did not know what all this covered when I first signed up years ago. Now, however, I am so happy that we purchased this plan, and continue to purchase it year after year. With children and technology, this plan is a must!!

It was easy to purchase, and your geek squad was so great

My husband and I originally purchased for our daughters computer. Since then we have each purchased laptops and other electronics and they are all covered at no additional charge. Definitely worth having the geek squad available whenever we need it. And I travel and it is honored at all the stores so far in 4 different states! Watch out for on line trollers though, if you get an email about payments check with your local store.

This came with our best buy membership. Greatful to have it!!! I can sometimes be skimpy in protection, so I'm glad best buy is covering this!

I had a small problem with my HP laptop and took it to the geek squad for help. Within twenty minutes the problem was solved and I Was on my way. The gook squad is the greatest.
