What was suppose to be 2 or 3 days turned into 12 days. Finally received the computer today. Repeatly kept on saying it was going to be delivered then at the last minute got a notification that it would be a couple of more days. Dont plan on receiving a computer shipped to you on the original date.

Valueless

They cover certain things as long as you can go without your computer for 3 weeks "more or less... but we can't give you a loaner." I got this so if something happens to my computer I can get it fixed and have a loaner as I work on my computer. Was told today when I brought in my computer - first that it looked like someone sliced this part with a razor blade so it's probably not covered. I assured the young man that I don't even own a razor blade and it hasn't been out of my possession and where the fan cover (or whatever it is on the bottom) that caved in - why would anyone even want to cut that? what benefit is there. I have no idea how it happened but it is a flimsy piece and I'm sure I am not the only one. So lousy customer service and valueless to me. Could have paid less over time if I saved my money and just go now to a local computer store to get it fixed.

Geek Squad left me stranded

I had to resolve the issues on my own every time.

Good value - worth the spend

For $200, the ability to obtain services as needed is unmatched. I would highly recommend spending the money for it. The need to schedule an appointment so that you're not waiting forever instore is the biggest drawback, but I suspect that is also the case during busy seasons, such as the holidays and back to school.

Total Tech cut their benefits yet price was still high . I never used the warranty so I can’t say how easy the repair or reimbursement process will be.

Dell Inspiron14 2-in-1

Had to exchange the first one, and the second one isn't really loud enough for me. The speakers are on the bottom of the unit, which is goofy and should be compensated for by a greater degree of volume.

motherboard issues with Samsung laptops

It was working fine till ~ May 2023. After that the laptop would every now and show a blue scree 'your device ran into a problem and needs to reboot' and would reboot on its own. Sometimes, upon rebooting, it would give the following message - 'All boot options are tried. Press F4 key to recover with factory image using recovery or any other keys for next boot loop iteration'. I contacted Samsung customer service and they requested me to send in the laptop for repairs to their authorized repair center - Totaltech Solutions. I did this and they re-imaged windows and returned the laptop. Within 2 months the exact same problem occurred and sent it back again to Totaltech Solutions once again and the laptop was re-imaged once again. Ever since then, the exact same issue happens randomly at least once a week. Since I'm a Bestbuy total tech member, I took the laptop to geek squad inside a store. The agent told me that this was a very prevalent issue with Samsung laptops since the issue is caused by mother board. I'm extremely disappointed with this $ 600 laptop purchase and would advise anyone wishing to buy a Samsung laptop to beware of this issue. I have no choice but to live with this persisting issue with no help whatsoever since every time I send in the laptop to Totaltech (Samsung authorized service provider), it costs $ 50.

Don't buy

We lost our $100.00 dollar credit that we never recieved. Got the runaround from Best Buy and Citi....everyone blamed someone else
