I would say this is a good service. Not the best, but good. Takes a long time to get through to a rep. Not a lot can be handled through chat.

The protection plan is good but is limited so no good

BB asked for review - haven't had to use it, yet, so it's not possible to rate the service. But, the price was right, and it gives me some comfort that BB will stand behind the product for 2 years.

Peace of mind, but I haven’t had any issues with my machine to use the protection.

Great product, very quick an efficient in response.

Daughter loves this. Especially the full screen apps.

Purchased this with a new laptop purchase. With the idea that the geek squad would transfer and backup the old laptop to the new under my wifes microsoft account. Geek squad person who writes this up vs. the person who did the transfer did not communicate with one another. Also, Geek Squad did NOT demonstrate what they did when I picked up the laptop -- just got the old and new back with a "sign here" --- I had to fix it as their was no information on who to contact other than call or come back to the store -- who manages he geek squad? My fix was reinstall windows, create the proper microsoft account for my wife and reinstall computer drivers -- synch it for backup.

Not what it used to be. Geek squad isn't the team it use to be. The protection plan isn't really a protection plan anymore. It's gonna cost you about $100 dollars to get your computer fixed and you're out of a computer for three weeks if you're lucky. What happened to a protection plan being a protection plan. something happens to the device and it gets replaced. One of the reasons I always went to best buy for my technology needs and purchased higher-end products was because I liked the insurance and the team at best buy. I feel mislead and frankly unimpressed by the protection plan and the team at geek squad. I think I'll start looking for alternatives.

Brought Apple Watch into store after being told we could come in without an appointment (we actually were scheduled for later and were early). The person at the help desk told us he would help us and to just wait. After 30 minutes waiting in line we were told he could not help us; he and the manager then became very rude and asked us to leave the store. There was no apology for telling us to wait and then telling us they couldn't help us (replace the watch face on an Apple watch). We have really never had such treatment and at this point do not anticipate shopping at Best Buy again. Additionally, I have called the Geek Squad for help with my laptop - they are pleasant but most times have not been helpful or even made things worse. Very disappointed in Best Buy despite having bought much of my tech there.

Have not had to use it so far will let you know when

It is not worth to keep it. It is very expensive. Unsatisfactory.

Shop anywhere else than here unless you enjoy frustration

It's costly if you don't use, but helpful if you do.

Good stuff to get with a product. What more do you need?

It's nice to feel like the new computer you bought is protected; not so nice to realize that the Total Support expired and then all the things you bought under it won't be covered by renewing it. Once it lapses, you can buy it again, but then it doesn't cover your previous products you had covered the first time you bought the coverage... that REALLY sucks. I won't buy it again.

I was disappointed for when i purchased my laptop, the guys was very nice. I didn’t want anything franfer so they told me they would help me install my programs. When I went to get it done the girl wouldn’t do but a few minutes and said I could come back next day she couldn’t do it that day. I live approximately 35 miles from store so I refused.

Good: Looks nice like a Spectre. Heavy like a Spectre. Colors look nice. Speaker is loud. Bad: Came DOA on arrival. No charge at all but…in <10yo s was at 65%z…waaaa? During set up seems to fall asleep or restart on its own. Thought…maybe it’s normal for updating purposes. Nope. UGLY: Got it all set up, charged to 100% and it still random has black screen or fall asleep while you’re mid-task (gaming, Netflix, whatever..) Also battery died at 7%. Returned.

This was not beneficial to me at all to be honest.

It would be an amazing device if it didn't just restart on me randomly in middle of homework. 1000 dollar crap
