Long wait for appt

Which is where I’m at now, waiting…

The protection plan only serves Best Buy.

Within a few months, the computer is completely non functioning. Geek squad diagnosed it as complicated hardware issue after two attempts to fix it. Best Buy protection plan only protects Best Buy, not the customer. They couldn't care less about the customer. The manager offered no viable solution to replace our laptop since we purchased a broken one (other than to send it off for further review which we were not comfortable doing, we felt that solution was not an acceptable option). I wasted my money on a faulty purchase and a protection plan. Best Buy does not care. I was an excellent client with over 35 years of purchases. Will never shop at Best Buy again- they have NO customer service.

Do not buy!

Only find out when I went back to get a printer, that it doesn't exist. I was told, just call this number and they will straighten it out. I callled spent 10 minutes waiting, and then I got India on the other end. I told my issue and was put on hold for 20 minutes and then it dropped. I've been dealing with this for 3 days trying to get my emai corrected and trying to fix this issue. Im done!

HIRE MORE TECH SUPPORT

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.17 hours on the phone with tech support, as the agent learned how to solve the problem did not make paying 200 a year seem equitable... training needs to be stepped up, and when a computer owner is not ignorant of basic problem a faster escalation to more technical savvy techs needs to make this worthwhile. Stop making customers waste incredible amounts of time texting with people who don't know how to do anything, and enable connection to actual tech support faster.

Lenovo yoga

The biggest glitch I’ve encountered is while playing planet zoo, where after playing for a month, it won’t let me start it anymore and i have no idea why. It’s frustrating. But id still give this computer a fair rating even tho this hickup.

Best Buy Protection Plan

I will do my electronic business with Best Buy 100% of the time going forward.

Protect Your Purchases!

I am glad I purchased protection for my laptop when I bought it earlier this year. I have had to use Best Buy Protection coverage for other purchases of mine in the past. You never know when you may need it!

Don't Buy - such a waste

The hard drive failed in 4 months. and your answer to the problem was to send my laptop to Kentucky from SC to get a new hard drive installed. Putting my job in jeopardy as I can't work for 10-12 days. Today is day 11 and its on the way back to the store - the app says. I am done with Best buy and sending out my computers - sorry

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.24 month subscription in 2022? came with purchase, exchanged Apple with M1 chip for HP, after factory reset of HP, would not let me use the specified Internet, connection on my brand, new phone, iPhone 14MAX pro, with Microsoft defender, and VPN set up with secure core, 5G, hotspot. (Worked on other devices fine) I created a Help ticket with geek squad total tech, arrived at the Murray location UT, late as I was running behind, offered to leave merchandise still in the box with the attendant. location to update my windows 10 to Windows 11 by a professional as HP recommends, with full update, and restore at two factory settings. MURRAY, UT- location. Windows 11 was not updated and when I came home, I was not able to use the hotspot on my phone (as my help ticket requested) and instead my phone became infected with spyware -having my passwords, yet again, hacked ! But caught by Microsoft defense!
