Laptop is fine in most respects, however the battery life is limited and significantly less than expected.

This ended up being a useless plan. I cancelled it and do not recommend. Make sure you read the fine print and don't listen to the sales rep.

So had to use protection plan first thing I had to pay $85 to have a chipped out with unknown time to get it back. Your warranty is going horribly wrong so why even have a warranty if I need to pay $85 and estimate time is not acceptable on a laptop.

If this protection had been in place when my previous computer got a full glass of water spilled on it, I wouldn't have received a new laptop at no cost.

Not worth it at all. Everything you get is basically the same what you get for free. If you get suckered into buying, just cancel shortly thereafter and you get all your money back prorated.

Computer geek squad is not very consumer friendly. Audio geek squad is fabulous

My grandchild deactivated my protection plus while I was away from the computer (he's 5) and Best Buy REFUSED to reactivate it within the hour of the incident so now NONE of my previously covered electronics are covered. Not good customer service from BB national.

apparently you won’t have this unless they make you pay 179.99 without telling you nd then say it’s a membership.

Scammed me by not informing me when I purchased my HP computers that Total Tech considers parts non replaceable. Giving a false sense of security and they take your money.

Don’t buy this.. I bought a computer 2 months ago and lurches this protection plan thag the sales man made seem like it was the best and covered so much.. well my computer motherboard went out and they’re telling me it’s going to take 2 MONTHS to get it fix or replace! 2 MONTHS! This is a business computer I use it for payroll! I had to buy a new computer today. Definitely not buying from Best Buy again!

It did not work for me. It was a hefty cost without much benefit.

I was unable to get my computer fix. I was told by different reps I was than when I spoke with a manager I was told I wasn't and I couldn't purchase an extended protection plan.

The store manager hard sold me on the Best Buy Protection after I told him my drive crashed and was giving me a sad face and saying " no boot device detected". He assured me the protection would cover this repair. Wrong - it cost me $450 for data recovery service.

Best Buy Protection does Not apply to LEMONS that Constantly malfunction! Even when Geek Squad can't remedy.

Expensive yearly fee with a high deductible. Not worth it. Best buy automatically charged me for another year. I have to call Customer service to have them cancel.

We had previously purchased the extended guarantee. We were told this was all we could but and it was the same thing. Now, less than a year later, my wife's computer does not have the cursor showing. It has been in twice and she was told this policy does not cover hardware. We were misled. The computer was purchased just less than a year ago.
