I used Best Buy protection in the past with my old computer. I had to get information transferred from my old broken computer to the new one. They were able to retrieve the information even when the old computer would not stay on. I was so happy to not lose all my important files.

I liked mine so much that I bought another one for a family member. I usually get my electronics from Best But because being able to pay it off over time interest free allows me to get what I need without added stress. The computer has a big screen, works fast, and if very versatile.

Excellent protection for all your techs such as cameras, computers, and phones etc. lots of great deals and prices drop consistently on average. if you don't have a protection, then what are you doing? you are missing out on all of those deals on tv and stuffs. Quickly, it is time to find yourself one.

We have been paying for the monthly Best Buy protection for well over a year and have nothing but excellent service. I have been able to resolve any issues online and not have to even go into the store. Highly recommend this service. We now purchase all of our electronics, phone, and appliances at Best Buy because this program is such a great deal. The only thing that would make it better would be if the warranties were extended for more than 2 years per product.

My previous laptop was destroyed accidentally going through TSA at the airport. Thankfully this protection plan covered the damage and allowed me to replace with a new laptop. This is a must for any significant purchase!

I had such a great experience with Geek Squad—they made everything simple and stress-free. From answering my questions to setting things up quickly and explaining it all in a way I could understand, they really went above and beyond. It felt reassuring knowing I had knowledgeable, friendly help right there when I needed it, and now I feel confident everything is running the way it should.

These plans are quite expensive, especially for a new laptop under warranty, but for someone who would not feel comfortable setting up a new laptop and copying over thumb drives and old laptops, it’s the way to go.

My best buy protection plan gives me great peace of mind. Their products are great but its nice to know my member plan protects all my best buy products.

I am disappointed in this purchase. When I purchased it there were many more reasons for having it. Years ago ,when I purchased it (it had a different name then), it covered any tech product (from BestBuy or not) without a fee to come to the house. Then the plan changed to only cover tech products purchased from BestBuy and any tech needs in the home meant a $50 travel fee--for each tech issue and you could only schedule one tech issue per trip out. I've largely been disappointed with the Geek Squad Services because I don't feel confident about their expertise and if there is any problem they can fix quickly (in 20 minutes or less), I have to leave my device--that's horribly inconvenient sometimes. About the only benefit is an extended warranty on any BestBuy product purchase and that applies only as long as the TotalTech Contract remains in force. When it terminates, so does the product extended warranty.

I have been paying for this protection for several years. It is very good while it is in effect. The only thing i dont like is that it doesnt protect the purchased items while the policy is contuously running. After 2 years of purchase date, the warranty no longer covers. Most items outlast the warranty. So the warranty basically only covers when the items are fairly new and unlikely to break down. They should be covered while the warranty is being paid and you own the product.

I decided to go with the full year protection plan, which includes future purchases. It offered the best protection for my purchases throughout the next year.
