It only made sense for us to purchase this through the Total Tech Plan. We live within the proximity perimeters to Best Buy but it is still a fistance for us to drive. We aren't techies and need all the tech help we can get. It has already paired for itself.

I bought the rog x16 in "excellent condition" for $100 less and was told it was just open box and in perfect condition. Shipped from Georgia. It came damaged! The computer was bulging open and there was a large chip/gash on the laptop edge. I bought a brand new one in store and the next day, i spilled coffee on it! Opened it up and saw it didnt get inside and just barely went in the keys. However, I had a friend try to cloae it back up and it wasnt lined up (trackpad sank and wouldnt work and 2 keys broke off). I went to Geek Squad to see if they could fix. I had ro pay $100 just for them to look at and was told if they couldnt fix it, oh well. If they dremdd it as fixed but damaged, I was out of luck. Plus they didnt take returns even if one day old (Theur store in particular didnt do open box returns...how convenient). THANK GOD the computers were down because they had to automatically replace it no questions asked and gave me a new one. This protection plan cant even cover a spill properly. But I love the laptop! The membership is cheaper than a 1 year warranty and you get 2 years plus benefits but just need to research what those benefits actually are...

During this time, keyboard input lags, mouse movement stalls, and even simple typing is disrupted with missed or misspelled words due to input lag. Multitasking Instability: Even with minimal multitasking (e.g., two or three Microsoft Word documents open), the system may freeze or stop responding when trying to open an additional application or browser tab. 3.
