With any new devices, I recommend getting the protection, extended warranty. Usually if things go wrong or happen with devices, it's usually within the first few years of purchase. Peace of mind.

It's completely useless. They will not help you. We still have an almost 2000 dollar computer with no wifi or Bluetooth that says on the box it has and they refuse to help and tell us to go buy parts to fix it

I was assigned a geek and 10 minutes she “knew” I needed a $200.00 protection plan ??? Next time lets open the computer it may have been an easy fix

Deceived by the salesperson. Buyer Protection was not what I was told it would be.

I asked the associate to assist me in finding a computer that would help me run my business efficiently. I told him that I needed a computer that I could do zoom meetings. He fell to tell me that this computer had not built in audio or camara and that I needed to purchase these items separate. :( Found out the hard way.

Worked for what I needed but there are already better models for the same price.

The assistance when transferring data from my old desktop to the new one alone made the Protection Package a decent deal. Add the enxt 23 months of assistance and it is a no-brainer.

This is a great plan with the Geek Squad, who are always very helpful and thorough. The only thing I would change is how you contact them. You can't contact the Geeks by calling the store, you have to use a corporate #. That should be changed, and then my overall rating would be 5 stars.

My old PC was took 20 minutes to boot up. They suggested that I replace the hard drive for $40. It has made a world of difference. It boots up in record time.

No no where to put the CD if freezes quite a bit and have to reboot so many times

You need this. Point blank - if ypu shop at best buy alot it pays for itself immediately-

Don't do it! This warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on! If you item requires repair, you'll likely get charged an amount to send it in, then if it's 'junked' they won't replace it for you. Might as well save your money towards a new purchase

It was a good product to use and buy and works good

they tell you they can't stop junk, hackers, etc.. they forgot to take mcafee off and nice people but not educated enough on why their job is.

I am not sure what this does as I have the total tech plan.

Great desktop computer. I use an ergonomic keyboard so did not need the included keyboard. Got a great Black Friday deal.

Nice insurance if something goes wrong. It gives you some confidence and protection in the product.

This is worth the peace of mind. Hopefully I will not need to use it, but it is there if needed.

The plan is a scam. You pay $200 a year to solve all your worries, until, you have a problem then they won’t issue a refund or store credit. The only option is to ship your product out. But wait, it gets better. Best Buy wants $79 to ship it out! Such a scam
