    Remote assist is malicious. In-store incompetent.

    Best Buy's website insisted on going through Remote Assistance. I spoke to three agents, none of them spoke fluent English and had Indian names. One of them harvested my email address through some application without my consent and requested I give them my password (I gave them a fake one) to "assist with repairs." Immediately after there were failed login attempts to my email from all over the globe. I brought my PC in to be tested as I was experiencing 100% reproduceable performance issues, I explained to them how to reproduce the issue. They reported back they could not reproduce the issue, and all they did was clean dust from my PC. Right after my protection expired my PC now rattles when under heavy load. I don't know anything about computers. This service was a waste of money and could've have been financially devastating had I not given the agent the wrong email when they attempted to scam me. Do not trust remote assistance under ANY circumstances. Do not expect the in-store agents to take your issue seriuosly.

    A bit pricy but it’s nice to have the peace of mind. Wish I had before. They have also removed some of the benefits they used to have.

    Wish they had a better return policy so the extra money for this option. Sucks, unless you buy most of your tech at Best Buy.

    This protection plan is necessary for the customer. I purchased a faulty unit and was able to get my refund for it after I had the computer for like 6 months. It seems very fair that the customer gets this warranty when the product that he or she purchases can come to him or her being defective.

    The freezer seals do not seal properly. The seals freeze over constantly. The ice maker takes 6-12 hours to produce ice. This model is junk. Stay away

    I bought this as a gift for my wife, we werent able to set it up until two months after the purchase date becuase we had just had a baby. When we finally hooked it up the unit kept turning on, speeding up the cooling fan upon start up and then shutting off. We took it to have diagnostic ran and they told us it was the power unit. They said since it was past the return date we could only have it replaced once they attempted to fix it twice. They said it was fixed and we went to pick it up. When they tested the unit at the store the same issue arose. They sent it back in for repairs and they ended up replacing it. Before we set it up, the unit was stored in a closet and there was no damage to it. The technician said that they had never seen it happen before. Thankfully we got full store credit back and were able to get a better unit.

    Failed Graphics Card

    First year this pc was great and now the 3080 graphics card is going out. Also they should have installed a support for the graphics card which they did not.

    Don't waste your time and money buying this type of PC. I started having problems after six months of use. I have taken it to Best Buy for repair 4 times and still have the same problem. Blue screens, crashes in games. To me this PC is overrated.

    Strict claim rules. Required me to drive to Burlington NC or Fredericksburg VA or pack item up and wait. Also requires me to take off from work to go to UPS store since its drop off and my location doesn’t have Saturday hours. Total inconvenience is a better name

    This computer blows. It crashes at least 10 times a day and Geek Squad can't fix it. They keep making me endure remote logins but haven't been able to fix it. Don't waste your money.
