It is very difficult to work with BestBuy to utilize this 'extended' warranty. If you speak to your 'concierge' team when you call, they will do one of a couple things: 1) hang up on you and/or disconnect a call or 2) give you inflated costs for the diagnosis, service call and parts. It took some feedback on BBB to gain some attention, and I am not yet convinced I'm getting what I signed up for at $179 per year for 2 years. Bought nearly all my new appliances at Best Buy, purchased this plan, and now I realize they may, or they may not, be covered. If they are, prepare to fight for it. Too much of a headache. Should get the plan through electric supply company who offers warranties OR save your money so you have $ to spend on the repairs you'll need.

This refrigerator is not meant for family of 5. You can only fill 4 regular size cups don’t have a guess .. I with this was noted .. it also has rusted marks on the front of fridge.. besides keeping it cold I would not choose this fridge or recommend it

Regret buying this. We purchased this in March. Ice maker is cheap builds up ice dam when not in use. drips water. Almost have to break ice well to clean it out. Called for service with geek squad but they cannot service while under LG warranty. Lg will not send out service tech unless you do your own maintenance first to see if you can fix it yourself.

Granted it was a refurbished refrigerator but I didn't expect to have two major problems almost immediately. Glad I only had to pay them $99 for the service call even though I have the top warranty program with Best Buy. I won't have that program next year as it's a tad ridiculous there's a service call fee of $99. I could expect a minimal fee of say $29 or even $39, but not $99 when I've already paid $179 for the year. What is the $179 for after all?!!!

Be careful when Best Buy is trying to sell you the Best Buy protection under total tech vs the geek squad protection plan. When we purchased our appliances we wanted to buy the geek squad protection. We were quickly ushered to purchase the total tech support INSTEAD. We were told "The protection plan is INCLUDED with the total tech. You get all the same benefits of the geek squad protection but you also get the benefits of the total tech. If for any reason your appliances stop working, we will fix it or replace it at no charge." Here we are, our fridge is not working and low and behold, they want me to spend $99 for them to come a perform a diagnostic on the refrigerator. Bait and switched!

Noisy, once an hour and bad water filter (four months in and the filtered water taste horrible. Everything else is nice. Good lighting, Functional inner space and great lighting (subjective) btw large ice balls - use a better filter.

Crappy protection that you have to pay extra for if you are already paying 200 a year for geek squad.

this is a okey refrigerator, Not my first choice. One of the lights on the door does not light on

While the the refrigerator works well, this refrigerator is extremely noisy. I have had to explain twice because of the noisy sound.

A little small inside, but love the ice maker and the fresh water

I am so happy that I purchased the Total Tech. However, it took 2 months for us to get our product. Best Buy kept canceling the appointment and then would rest the appointment for a week later. I called Multiple times and each time the Total tech representative was kind told me the exact same thing: “the problem will (would) be addressed” yet it wasn’t over and over again. Word service is not action service. The entire purchase has been less than desirable. It was a JOB to continue to call them to see what happened… again.

It’s a good idem. Keep food cold, but not a lot of space

I bought for the ice maker and water. The ice maker freezes up and the ice gets stuck so it won’t dispense the ice and I will have to take it out and clear it. I like cubes but it’s mostly shavings.
