waste of money brand new appliances cant get an installed right

Frig comes with 5 yr parts and labour. Why buy extra insurance??

Let me start by saying my previous Kenmore side by side lasted 33 years. The reason it did was because every other year we vacuumed the coils. I hope this one lasts even half as long!!! Pros… Absolutely love the space in both the fridge & freezer, buying the large cu. ft. fridge was definitely worth it!!! The stainless steel finish is very nice. The handles and lines are sleek. It looks nice in my kitchen. The temperature adjustments are a plus. Our ice cream and ice packs for my back are finally frozen!!! When I was a kid in the ‘50’s the French door refrigerators were popular. A neighbor had one. I’ll never forget the day I watched her kneel on the floor to get what she needed out of the freezer. I made a mental note to never buy a refrigerator like that!!! So, I am very pleased with this side by side fridge…everything is easy to see and within reach. Other reviews say this model is noisy, but that has not been the case with ours. I have thermometers in each side. The fridge & freezer have no problem getting to the suggested temperature and don’t fluctuate. Cons: The water from the water dispenser tastes plastic…even though we primed it as per the instructions. We are waiting for a new replacement filter. Shouldn’t have to do this on a new refrigerator!!! The second bin in the fridge won’t push all the way back, because there is a waterline coiled behind it in the way…what’s with that??? The ice maker doesn’t produce ice fast enough…even though I lowered the freezer temp. There are only two of us in the house, and the ice maker can’t keep up…very slow!!! The ice bin is way too small. Don’t like the size of the ice cubes…too small!!! The ice dispenser puts out ice very s-l-o-w!!! We live in the New Orleans metro area, it’s hot here, so we need lots of ice. Our previous 33yo Kenmore side by side had no problem keeping up!!! If the ice maker issues were addressed, I would have given this fridge 5 stars.

I love this fridge. The best thing about it is the space and it has a beverage center. My dog liked to get water from the other one. This one is inside.
