my ice maker whent out with in 2 years and best buy will not help me, its well known problem with samsung fridges-- I have an error code that can't be cleared My ice maker went out after just two years, and Best Buy won't help. It's a well-known problem with Samsung fridges. I have an error code that I can't clear.

The refrigerator portion is GREAT. This refrigerator is the same size as my previous refrigerator but has much more room inside. There is also a lot of room for larger items in the door. - The freezer section isn't as user friendly as it looked it the store. I found that having a side-by-side freezer/refrigerator was much more useful. The shelves in a side by side hold more and make it easier to locate items than the chest type featured in this freezer. 1. We had significant problems during the first month with the water dispenser dripping after using it. This does seem to have gone away now. 2. I have kept a thermomter in the refrigerator since we got it and the refrigerator hovers at the "too warm" area of the thermometer. I have reset the temperature from the recommended 37 degree to a lower temperature to solve this issue and so far, it is ok, but I don't like having to constantly keep monitoring the temperture because I can't trust it. The temperature falls very quickly, when you open the doors, so it probably wouldn't be great if you have a family that is always looking in the refrigerator or hold the doors open very long like children might do.

Although I have not used it yet, I find this to give great peace of mind.

Horrendous experience with Best Buy and Geek Squad’s TotalTech service. TotalTech is a scam. My fridge died over THREE WEEKS before Thanksgiving, and despite paying for a "premium" service, they couldn't fix or replace it in time for the holiday. I reported the issue on November 6, and the earliest appointment was November 14, with a $105 fee. The tech came out, said it needed a new Main Control Board, and promised the part would arrive overnight. By November 19, the part still hadn’t shipped. I asked for a supervisor, and on November 21, I was told the part was no longer available, and the fridge would need to be replaced. However, they offered me the Black Friday sale price, not what I originally paid, and the earliest replacement was December 5. They also suggested I pay hundreds more for a new fridge, but that wouldn’t arrive until after the holiday either. Meanwhile, I found the part online with overnight shipping from the manufacturer , proving they were lying about availability. TotalTech and Geek Squad’s complete lack of urgency and professionalism ruined my holiday. Dont waste your money.
