LOVE my new washer and dryer, GE PROFILE, but did have issue initially because the 1st washing machine that was delivered was a reject. It would be turned completely off, with the door open and it would keep making the grinding sound. That sound is when it's done and pulling the water out or doing the fresh vent cycle. It was running 24 hours later, never stopped. Called Best Buy support and they were on it. Sent a new one 8 days later. Other than that it's been a great washer and dryer, I have been using since December 10, 2024.

Worth it if you are buying major appliances or costly electronics. We purchased a new washer dryer set in a large TV so it made it worth it for us to add the total tech package. It is nice that it covers everything else you buy for that year and that you have the option of adding another year to cover everything for 2 years.. But if you were only buying small items like cell phones or things that did not cost much I don't feel it would be worth it. If you were buying expensive electronics, large TVs computers and appliances it is definitely worth adding this protection package. We got our washer and dryer and TV at great sale prices so even adding the protection package still had us paying less than the regular price. You get 60 days to return the item for any reason and depending on the item if it breaks during the covered period it either costs you $9 to have it repaired or $49 for a TV.. They come to your house to do it and if they can't repair it they replace it. So for $199 you get 12 months of coverage, with the option to add another year of coverage on for $199 later. At first we thought it was kind of a ridiculous idea and probably just some kind of scam.. A good way to upsell. But when we looked into it more we realized it was a good idea since we were purchasing major appliances. It is nice to have all the other Small things We buy covered as well if Nora the reason just to have the 60-day return option.. But I don't think it would be worth paying $199 for just small items to have extra coverage.

Maytag is reliable and worth the investment. Our last drier and washer were Samsung and they were terrible. Paint chipped off and started Rusting on washer. Drier crapped out after 5 years. Maytag running strong so far the last 2 years snd work better than expected.

Totally recommend it they are always there for you if you have a problem

I bought my washer and dryer from Best Buy. I love my plan that warranty will cover if my washer or dryer brake down. My washer and dryer have been great. No issues at the moment but, it’s great to know my warranty is there for me.

I had a higher end pair of LG Washer-Dryer set that was 19 years old. I only had to replace the 'rubber seal' which leaked after so many years. Unfortunately, I had to leave the set at my prior residence. My LG Washer and Dryer front loaders work great! I love all the pre-programmed washes. I like the ability to pre-program the machine to start and complete a load during 'super off peak' electricity hours. Being that these are base models, they only come in white, and the dryer has no light which I was used to in my prior set. There are higher end models that offer color choices and lighting. I have a small laundry room. When they were installed, I asked the installers to put the Washer on the right since there was a drain there, in case of a future leak. I asked for the Dryer to be on the left. I wanted both doors to open out to allow ease for unloading the washer and loading the dryer. The installer said the doors of these machines are fixed with only one hinge and he couldn't change that. In order to accommodate my request, he had to put the Washer on the left instead of the right. Perhaps higher-end machines offer this convenience as my former LG's did.

So far this is a very good washer gets clothes very clean and we love the super large capacity

Absolutley love these - easy to use - only thing is the washer since it's a rubber type ring for sealing it does collect a lot of the lint and hair and is hard to remove. Plus therej's a lot of moisture it retains, so it's a really good idea to run the vent option after you are done with all your loads for the day.

I couldn’t live without geek squad. There’s always something that comes up and even though I am pretty tech savvy, it’s nice to know there’s someone there to help.

Honestly, the BBY protection plan is the best, I would recommend getting the best buy credit card, all the benefits that you get are amazing. It is worth it.

recently purchased a new washer and dryer from Best Buy. I decided to purchase the Monthly Best Buy Protection (up to 24 mo.) plan for peace of mind. I am so glad I did! A few weeks after I installed my new appliances, the washer stopped working. I called Best Buy and they sent a technician out to fix it the same day. The technician was very friendly and professional. He fixed the washer in no time and I was able to use it again the same day. I am very happy with the Monthly Best Buy Protection (up to 24 mo.) plan. It gave me peace of mind knowing that if something happened to my appliances, I would be covered. I would definitely recommend this plan to anyone who purchases a new appliance from Best Buy. Love my new washer and dryer. Our clothes literally have never smelled better. The only downside is starting a load can be confusing at first but once you get the hang of things it becomes seamless.

Best Buy protection is the absolute best. It has saved me so much time and money over the years. Most stuff is replaced in store and a few items are sent off for inspection or repair, but even that is quick and they update you every step of the way. Being a Total Tech member is well worth it and we recommend it to everyone.

As much as I loved my new Samsung washer/dryer I was so disappointed when the washer started having trouble in the spin cycle. It turned out they are known for having that problem. Well now going with the LG I don't know why I didn't go with them originally. So much better, I'm done with Samsung and Sony. They're no longer good quality, like they used to be.

Replaced 2002 set with these new stackable washer and dryer. Washer is great and has many preset cycles along with in app cycles. Love the quick wash option. 4 stars only because Dryer sometimes doesn’t dry all the way and when re-drying the dryer sets it’s one timer based on wetness of lead. Also have never been able to connect dryer to phone app. Connected washer with no issues and love that I get alert when cycle is complete.

This LG 5.0 cu ft front load washer is the best I've ever had, and I've had several! Very roomy tub. Easy to use dial selections for water temp. settings (cold to very hot), spin choices and soil level. Smart settings from delay start to cycle finish notification. The pedestal washer is a fantastic addition. First, it adds height to the 5.0 cu ft washer, making it much easier to reach in for washed laundry. Second, it's fantastic for small loads, or for one or two items needed in a hurry. Highest water temp setting is warm on this pedestal washer. Good safety features on both washers. Super excellent cleaning of clothes without causing damage or fraying. Upper machine is large enough for comforters, blankets, heavy jackets. Highly recommend either, but, together a great combo.

Love the plans. Worth the price. Never know when you need them.
