Do not recommend. I wanted to add a Geek Squad protection plan to my appliance purchase but was it was not permitted because I went with the Best Buy Membership plan. I need service now and repairs our past the 1 year warranty and I must pay some 20% plus for repairs. If I ha been able to purchase the Geek Squad plan repairs would have covered everything and or a possible replacement if item could not be fixed. 1 year warranty done...service calls start at 160.00 for appliance. Appliance technician said they will fix, fix, fix (NOT REPLACE) until warranty expires...then I'm out of luck.

Haven't had a need to use this service, but expect it to perform to Best But standards

Both units are louder than I anticipated. If the door is left closed, a musty odor prevails. I'm not impressed at all.

As with any parallel waranty you hope you never have to use it.

It is very hard to make a fair review since I believe that the tech that attempted to fix my washer was extremely courteous and professional. However, on the other side, it took to visits from your Geek Squad to complete the job and the washer is still has the same issue.

Truly a GARBAGE product. This dryer is TRASH. I purchased it new from Best Buy in July of 2022. It died in June of 2023. As it was still under the Best Buy warranty, they sent a repair tech within several days. He ran the diagnostics and informed me that in would be 3 weeks time for the arrival of the necessary parts to complete the repair. Seeing I has new tenants moving into the house on the first of the month, the 3 week wait was out of the question. I could not have a family move into my property and then tell them they'd be unable to do laundry for a month. I ended up purchasing a whole new unit for the house. This piece of junk was hauled off and I'm out $900 and change. Never again will I purchase a GE appliance. For dryer not even make it 1 year is just atrocious.

Great stackable pair. Dryer has a steam setting that you can refresh if you leave clothes in overnight.Washer has many settings. I stacked the pair , I'm 5'3 and am able to use touch pad on dryer which is on top .

If I could give a zero star I would. I ordered my washer dryer two months ago. It was supposed to take 2 weeks. We have been waiting after they screwed up by not scheduling it for installation, then they had it going to the wrong address, then it was all of a sudden cancelled from their delivery schedule. Then when I called to see what was going on, they had no clue. All they could do was push it out another 2 weeks for the 3rd time. And now it has happened all over again. Just got hung up on by 800GEEKSQUAD at 2:18pm by a middle eastern male operator. The customer service over the last 5 years has gone into the toilet. I am sad to see the last electronics brick and mortar failing so miserably. To make matters worse, I used to work there and have had the Total Tech even before they got rid of all the free services that come along with the membership. Now it is just amazon without the support.

Horrible experience. During the installation they picked up my previously purchased washer and dryers which was the return to Best Buy. They are supposed to refund my money associated with that return but it’s already been more than 1 month and they have no clue about my refund. There customer support is horrible and don’t understand a single word I explained to them about the refund. When I tried to talk to store in East Hanover, NJ they simply declined to provide any support saying that it was an online order. I even don’t know to whom to reach about for my refund of about $2500.

I do not know why i am being asked to review the washer and dryer. I did not purchase them this year.

Dryer keeps shutting off at times. But washer is good and easy to use

OMG, where do I start. First off, you get 24 months of warranty protection. Add to that Free Delivery and set-up on appliances and TVs, Free Installation on car audio! All this for a one-time fee!!!

We love these things for the short wash feature and the fact that you can pause the wash anytime to add something you forgot. You have to remeber to push the right drier function so it emits heat.

I HAVE NOT HAD ANY USE FOR THE PROTECTION PLAN. BUT I GUESS IT IS NICE TO KNOW IT IS THERE.

So far we're excited about the performance of our washer and the dryer no problem at all.i'm confident if at all any unexpected happen we are in good hands,Best Buy is there for us 24/7.

It is so nice to have Best Buy protection for all our new purchases from one place. We hope we don't have to use it, but if we do, we will be glad to have a local company to work with.

We have this protection through our total tech membership and it is a complete waste of time and money. We have this covering our washer/dryer and when the washer broke they sent an inexperienced technician who made nothing but excuses to get out of doing the work. Now because he lied and said it was improperly installed (Best Buy installed it by the way lol) they won’t cover it and we are stuck with a washer that won’t wash clothes half the time because they refused to replace a sensor!
