I always purchase extended warranties, although I have rarely had to use them. Having them gives me the comfort of knowing that, just in case something goes wrong, I have protection beyond the basic manufacturer's warranty. Great value.

Definitely one of my favorite purchases. I love that i can connect the machines to my phone and get notifications. The dryer will not let you dry if the filter needs to be cleaned. That is a brillant idea

Love this purchase. I had to get the matching set. They are pretty quiet and do a great job. Also they are pretty aesthetically pleasing to the eye if you are not coving them and are out in the open.

Purchased but have not had to use to date. It was purchased to give me peace of mind in these ever inflationary times. Worth the purchase money.

We manage properties and buy appliances quite often - approximately 2-3 kitchens per year, plus random one-offs and thought the protection plan would be of value. When we tried to use the protection plan for a 1-year-old oven, we paid the $85 service fee and scheduled a visit. The problem is intermittent, but the oven beeps like a dying smoke detector at all hours of the day and night, and doesn't consistently heat properly. The part took almost a month to arrive, then the technician no-call-no-showed to our appointment. They apologized and came again after I called wondering where they were. The part didn't fix the issue, so after another visit they mailed a new part and scheduled several weeks later to install it. It was then determined that the part he ordered wouldn't fix the problem, and so no service was performed. Another diagnostic visit was scheduled, and the tech no-call-no-showed again. After coming back now over two months from our first visit, the range isn't kicking an error code out so they won't fix it. They want me to record video, then once we prove it's beeping (which is intermittent so hard to record) they'll schedule ANOTHER visit to try to dignose it again. The policy is to only replace an item after 3 repairs, and if they don't know how to fix it don't make a repair. This is now 7 seperate appointments. 20 hours on the phone speaking to different people to try to get an appoinment, and another 20 hours of time off work waiting for a technician who has an almost 1-in-3 no-show rate. We've been shuffled between different phone numbers and people who have no authority to help. We could've thrown the stove away and bought a new one with the time invested at this point. I'm disappointed in the customer service by Best Buy, who has hurt our image in the eyes of those whose property we manage due to inability to fix a now long-term issue. The warranty is more of a hassle than it's worth for big appliances, and they hope that by no-showing to appointments, they'll wear customers down so you just buy a new appliance from them, because the store isn't the service department.

Easy to use, sends notifications like when my laundry is down straight to my phone. I have a Samsung TV and the notification is show up on the TV as well. Super great product!

Purchasing the Total Tech Membership has been the best thing we could have done as new home owners. We have purchased several TV's and appliances and we don't have to worry about installation fees, mounting fees, or getting a protection plan because it is all included. Not to mention you have a return window of 60 days instead of 15 and extra discounts on many items.

Washer works well and has given us no problems however be careful when cleaning the filter . A whole bunch of water spilled out when I went to clean the filter. Next time I will have something to catch the water
