So in the end this paid off to have. However, it took an unbelievable amount of time and a large number of phone calls to eventually get the problem resolved. I, of course with my luck got a lemon from factory. Well I complained from day one but got told several things that were inaccurate. I was told that bc I’m total tech that I have up to 2 years to make sure to get the unit replaced. I began the process a couple of weeks after initial delivery but it was out of stock and was supposed to be getting ordered…well a couple of months later still no replacement. So I was calling again and being transferred here and there etc etc. they send somebody out and they diagnose, then they order some parts but agree it should just be replaced. They come install parts and the same problem persists. We did this 4 times until we were now at the 2 year mark and still it wasn’t working and wasn’t made right. I went into kinda a frenzy bc I didn’t want to end up with a known to be bad washer ($1200) washer at that and have no warranty left. I called and made my way up to a decision maker finally that was on my side and agreed that it should’ve been replaced long ago and apologized. They brought a new one out and installed it and took the old one. Not a problem since!

My first washer and dryer purchase and I am not disappointed. I noticed a difference in the texture of my clothes with the first wash and dry. My clothes feel brand new. I didn't change any of the laundry products I was using. I was previously using a very old used 15-20 year old washer/dryer in my old apartment. I love all the different wash cycle/dry options. I use the allergy wash a lot and heavy duty is good for larger loads or bedding, though there is a bedding cycle too. The only con I can think of is the initial smell of plastic/chemicals on the first couple of washes. It's SUPER strong. I tried washing with vinegar and baking soda to help reduce the smell. I think it took a few months before the smell finally lessened. I don't notice a smell now.

I have always wondered how this type of washer works and the clear lid is great to watch it at work! I have had this washer going on 2 years and love it. Ive recommended it to friends who have purchased same model and are just as happy.I have used all cycles and the items always come out clean, no damage,such as twisting or balling up fabric. I have all bamboo bedding and organic cotton towels which I wash on the gentle cycle and they come out clean and not twisted up. The auto settings work perfect for each type of load. I learned early not to change a pre-set wash. I had a comforter that I chose Bedding cycle for. I felt I needed a higher spin cycle which imbalanced my load. I changed setting back to medium spin and the machine easily rebalanced wash load. I learned to just set it and go and the machine do its job! I purchased this washer through best buy because as a total tech member not only did I recieve a discounted price, free delivery,setup and removal of old machine but also excellent personalized assistance. I also had 2 year warranty included and soon when it rolls off coverage by my membership I can extend the warranty at a very affordable monthly rate. Oh yes, and I chose 18 months no intetest payments to pay it off!

We have purchased Best Buy Protection several times and have used it several times. It is worth the $ on certain items.
