I never buy protection plans but I signed up for total tech because it included mounting a TV which would be just as expensive. For 2 years I get protection as well. Why not? Rating it a 3 because I usually don't get plans. I've never submitted a claim so can't comment.

I am confused about how this warranty works. I was told by the Geek Squad that the memory drive in one of my computers needs replacing, but they didnt replace it. I don't know if they are trying to wait until the warranty expires so they don't need to fix them are what.

Unbelievable to me that such a major company that I have been so devoted to would sell a TV with such a worthless remote. The included remote has NO BACKLIGHT.... I can't tell you how many times I've cut off a movie because I can't see the remote buttons. Sure I could and probably will have to buy another...but for some reason I just feel really short changed by LG. Oh well....

Read small print. We weren’t charged for protection plan at time of purchase but one year later our card was automatically charged $199 to renew it for a year. We did not want this. They did credit us after a phone call but just beware
