Have used this when I was scammed. Had total tech scan my computer for viruses, and was glad for the reassurance.

When you need it, it’s there. If you don’t have it, and the manufacturer warranty (which seem to have all gotten shorter and shorter) is no longer valid, this is a solid option.

I love this Smart TV but the only problem I have is that LG doesn’t support the CrunchyRoll app but I have hope that one say it’ll support it. Lol. Still giving it 5 stars

I'm sad to have to say this, but the support program has changed. I've never, ever, had to make a claim after 20 years+ of buying individual BB warranties, and then when this program began, since the universal coverage started. I just had a Dec Christmas TV gift stop working (irritatingly, 1 day after the return purchase window closed). I researched how a TV repair should work...bring it to any BB store. It turns out, that TV's under 50" don't work this way. Rather, you must call the vendor (in this case, Sony). Rather than write a story, I'll summarize it like this: the program no longer works as it used to, and certainly not like how individual product warranties worked. I've had to unbox and re-box the TV 2 times to take pictures, after attempting to return, and will likely have to pay to ship it. I've also had to keep repeating symptoms over and over to BB repair group, and then once again, to the OEM vendor support. Conservatively, I've spent around 3 hours on the phone. Extended warranties with other stores and organizations, particularly premium warranties, just don't require any of this. That's the whole reason for plunking down a couple of bills ever y year -- so that if you need it, it's there for you, with a minimum of hassle. The experience has been so negative, that after considering how I've never otherwise ever have had to get a product repaired, I'm really thinking of just canceling my "membership". The warranty here really does nothing for you in year 1, as you must go back to the manufacturer. My credit card otherwise covers the second year (so does yours, in all likelihood). I'm not seeing any value in the membership. It doesn't work as competing warranty offerings from other vendors. You should investigate 'what would happen if' you had to make a big-ticket return, before signing-up for the program. You may find it won't really cover what you're expecting.

Have not used (good thing) but adds an extra year to most warranties.
