Total tech warranty stinks.

I wanted to buy a real 5 yr extended warranty but they won’t let you if you are a total tech member. They just give you a two year warranty that requires deductibles and limited to two repairs per year. This is not customer service.

Dont allow 3rd party into your house!!!

He only wanted to plug it in and leave. Wouldnt hook up my peripherals or anything. A few days later legit Geek Squad came to install another tv. Thats when I was told about the tv mount not hitting the studs. So I had them fix it. Best Buy mgr reimbursed me the next day since I was a Tech member. You can request Geek Squad only- no 3rd party - come to your home. Do it! They connected all my peripherals to both tvs too!

Protection?

I should have read the entire program details before purchase because the moving of the TV is just that. They will move the TV from one room to another, but that is it. They won't remount the TV for free. As far as "protection", in my experience with LED TV's if the TV works thru the first 2 weeks without any issues, it'll last for the first 2 years without any issues.
