Paid for Geek Squad and got a third party to install my new 65” TV They did not know how to even set it up. Will never pay for Geek Squad again.

Whats there to say? Its a protection plan, im only filling this out for the gift card.

nope not worth it there is always a hidden fee at the end save your money just but a new one if broken

think many times before buying this. It may be helpful to you if you are not technology savvy.

No responses to my issues. Sound quality is either very poor or Geek Squad didn’t install it correctly.

I purchased Total Tech coverage and now my Web Root protection has expired. Coverage is not good.

You are forced to be set up on auto renew and can only stop that on the renewal date. You cannot cancel auto renew by itself. If you cancel, benefits stop that day, so be sure you know the renewal date and call one day before that if you don't want to pay for another year. It's sad that they have to resort to this kind of game. I'm sure the bet is that most people will not remember to call on the renewal date, and they won't want to cancel benefits that they have paid for, earlier.

My TV broke (something with LED screen) 23 months into my 24 Month protection plan. Full refund and new TV after geek squad determined it wasn’t fixable

My Best Buy membership provides this extra 2 year protection plan which is why we buy our appliances and electronics at Best Buy.

Total Tech is awesome. Less than 300 bucks, So far I've had them professionally install two large tv's on the wall, Put together a grill from a bunch of parts. Install a ring nest door bell, also come out to set up my hub nest. Plus the added perks it pays for itself if you plan on making some purchases. I mean why buy a grill at Best Buy? They put the thing together for you at your house!!

Love this. I got the Beta (total tech support) during a major purchase while moving into a new home. I really thank the decision I made while purchasing the membership, the protection plan for 2 years comes by default for any item I purchase in bestbut. It's a worth the investment.

April at the Trussville, Alabama store explained it to me and it just makes sense if you buy a lot of tech or if you don't. The first time you have a TV, PC or headphones that tap out it has paid for itself. I have saved at least $300 since she told me to get it.
