While I have not needed it for my phone yet, I have used the protection for appliances and my computer. I would prefer using this protection plan than deal with my carrier's as they are twice as expensive and do not cover anything but the phone. I have yet to experience how they handle any issues with my phone though; we will see how this experience holds up in the long term. Concern: Will this only cover 24 months for my phone, or will it honor the yearly protection plan?

This coverage is second to none. As long as everything lines up , ie, the serial numbers. Your device will be repaired or replaced without any problems. Plus save your receipt to provide proof of purchase.

Great customer service with a wonderful product. I have had my phone now for 3 years and it is still a top of the line product. I purchase all my cell phones and electronics from Best Buy due to the fact that they are knowledgable and always go the extra mile when assisting me!

You cannot go wrong with the Best Buy protection plan! I love that you can take your items directly to Best Buy and they can service or repair them there. I hate having to go through the hassle of calling a claims company and having them ship me a box so I can send it back. So far everytime I have had to use this service I have had no issues. Thankfully!

Ordinarily I would give Best Buy 5 stars for their protection plan and service. I pay what I consider for our family a generous amount per year for what I though was the ultimate protection plan (and have dedicated to buying our electronics only at Bestbuy) which when it comes to my stolen phone is more like a pain. My phone was stolen out of a shopping cart at the grocery store. I've only used the protection plan maybe 2 times over several years but they put a wall up on me this time over this phone incident. I filed a police report and brought printouts of the places we traced the thief going to with the phone showing where they live and everything which the police are investigating by getting video from the store and trying to find the culprit who stole it. So I finally had all my ducks in a row and started to file my claim with Best Buy. I called and this guy tells me the phone is not covered and will not be replaced. He said the protection under my "Total Protection Plan" does not cover theft of my phone. I was confused because what does "Total Protection" mean then? He said I should have bought it in store instead of online then it would be covered. I totally don't understand. To buy a phone I can't conveniently shop online with Best Buy because of my crazy schedule? So if it fell and cracked in half it gets replaced but if it's stolen it's not covered or replaced. I read the plan and it did not say it covers theft but it also did not say it doesn't cover theft so I think that can go either way! I felt like they treated me like a scammer. I bought the phone 18 months ago and it was still perfect, a Galaxy S22 Ultra, now I have to buy another and I don't trust them to buy a phone from them this time. Never again! I will suggest to BEST BUY if you can only get a full coverage phone plan including theft (or not) by purchasing the phone in the store why can't they put that in the listing for the phone for sale and in a way that is noticable please!

I will never go back to paying for protection with my cellular company. You pay a lot of money and when something goes wrong with your phone, they don't cover the whole cost to repair but best buy if you pay for their protection

I love my samsung zfold. I have poor vision and the eye strain looking at small print on cell phone is virtually gone when i use the larger fold screen. I cannot tolerate using a small screen especially at night. Like most people I'm exclusively on my cell every night well worth the price
