Depends on current Geek Squad employed. Some are excellent. Some adequate and some need training and more experience. If BB has a contract with Google to sell Pixel phones then they should know how the phones operate. If the phone is covered in the protection plan than the techs should be familar the phones. Aggravation is when the tech says I dont know Pixel phones because I have an IPHONE. What the tech owns is not relevant. If BB sells it, covers it under the protection plan than simply I only do Apple products is false advertising and failure of contract.

I will never go back to paying for protection with my cellular company. You pay a lot of money and when something goes wrong with your phone, they don't cover the whole cost to repair but best buy if you pay for their protection

This phone has so many features I am still learning them all. Very happy with my purchase for sure.

Ordinarily I would give Best Buy 5 stars for their protection plan and service. I pay what I consider for our family a generous amount per year for what I though was the ultimate protection plan (and have dedicated to buying our electronics only at Bestbuy) which when it comes to my stolen phone is more like a pain. My phone was stolen out of a shopping cart at the grocery store. I've only used the protection plan maybe 2 times over several years but they put a wall up on me this time over this phone incident. I filed a police report and brought printouts of the places we traced the thief going to with the phone showing where they live and everything which the police are investigating by getting video from the store and trying to find the culprit who stole it. So I finally had all my ducks in a row and started to file my claim with Best Buy. I called and this guy tells me the phone is not covered and will not be replaced. He said the protection under my "Total Protection Plan" does not cover theft of my phone. I was confused because what does "Total Protection" mean then? He said I should have bought it in store instead of online then it would be covered. I totally don't understand. To buy a phone I can't conveniently shop online with Best Buy because of my crazy schedule? So if it fell and cracked in half it gets replaced but if it's stolen it's not covered or replaced. I read the plan and it did not say it covers theft but it also did not say it doesn't cover theft so I think that can go either way! I felt like they treated me like a scammer. I bought the phone 18 months ago and it was still perfect, a Galaxy S22 Ultra, now I have to buy another and I don't trust them to buy a phone from them this time. Never again! I will suggest to BEST BUY if you can only get a full coverage phone plan including theft (or not) by purchasing the phone in the store why can't they put that in the listing for the phone for sale and in a way that is noticable please!

Our Samsung phones have been awesome and produce great pictures.

This is the main reason I have chosen to purchase all my phones (unlocked) and other electronics (from computers to televisions to appliances) from Best Buy. For one reasonable annual Total Tech fee, I no longer need to jump through the administrative hoops other sellers make a consumer jump through to make a claim or get a repair. Best Buy makes it easy peasy.
