Great protection plan that gives you peace of mind

After being away from blackberry for any years, I was hoping this weird form factor would help me get back into having a useful phone... That did not happen. Hardware is too weak for the poor software. Gyro sensor sucks. Screens freeze all the time. They display some thi g that is not actually on the screen and the touch will open a different app. Screen went out where the keyboard displays. Hinge creaks and feels like it won't last this year. Cell antennas are pretty weak. Battery sucks.... It was not worth the price or the switch.. Audio is horrible.. The case and pen are not worth the additional price.. Two apps open at once is the best part. I use that daily. That is about all the good...

Takes forever for the repair person to examine. They usually just do a trail and error, they kept us waiting on our dishwasher for 4 weeks before approving a replacement.

Screen protector has saved my phone many times when it has fallen out of my hands

Why wouldn't you get insurance on a phone that costs an arm and a leg?

brought in a speaker under warranty and geeks said that i would have to go to manufacter..the product had its id number removed and sold as a warranted product..not even the manufacturer could assist.. the battery was gone out in less than a month of purchasing..and they looked for renewal annually...really

Lively and Best Buy don't communicate. Best Buy would not help us and we spent 5 hours on the phone with Lively, and the SIM card still is not functioning. The billing is also totally incorrect and does not match what Best Buy and Lively indicated it would cost. We are extremely unhappy!

I got this on my Surface Duo 2, free with Totaltech. I seriously question if BB will have the parts and staff to repair such a device, so I expect any "service" I receive will be under the replacement/deductible portion of the plan.

I am not overly pleased that I paid $10.99 / monthly, lost my phone in a lake and had to pay such a high deductible. It was almoat as bad as a car deductible. $250 seems like a lot.

I'm glad to have the protection, but not thrilled to have to continue paying a yearly fee in order to access the protection plans.

I have not needed to use this yet so not sure how it will be good to use yet. It gets confusing with 2-year warranty but you have to pay yearly. This was added to an already established plan.
