There was a lens that was on sale from $279.99 down to $249.99 (non total tech price) but when i went to check out it showed the price breakdown from $282.99 to $252.99 then a $3 total tech discount to make it $249.99. I did buy this online for pick up in store but it makes me wonder how many other products arent actually discounted to a lower price for total tech memebers but just “discounted” to meet the same price people without total tech pay. I haven’t tried to claim any warranties yet so I can’t speak to that.

We like having the additional year of extended warranty with items we purchase at Best Buy simply because we are total members. We also have access to the Geek Squad with any tech problems we may experience. It’s worth the cost for sure!

We have used our Best Buy protection plans several times over the years. Our tv picture went out going into the 5th year. So glad that we had purchased the 5 year warranty. We were able to upgrade from a 55” to an updated 65” for only $50 thanks to having the warranty. Will never go without it!

Was a good purchase considering all of the electronics I buy there are covered. One of the reasons I make most of my purchases from Best Buy now.
