Thsi is a great and necessary plan to have for protection of all products. You have the option of which plan benefits you. I personally have plan that covers me yearly and have had this plan for over 5years. Service is great depending on the item, some items can not be repaired directly in store, which may upset some. I believe many items purchased through best buy are TV's, Computers and below, which can be services in store or home. I had great home service some years back when I needed and they replaced TV then manufacturer replaced TV. It was a great tv but had an issue. I do recommend.

I purchased this to get a free data transfer and extended apple care on my new laptop. I did not realize I needed to leave both laptops for 3 days for the transfer. It was not possible to work remotely without both computers so I had to make another appointment and drive 1+ hours again for the transfer. I did not notice any difference as all my folders and information was still on my desktop and book marked. It was a blessing.

I like my Geek squad availability every time I have questions. I can call them any time, and I usually get a quick appointment if the problem requires them to see it in person. My only complaint is that now they do not include in home services with the protection package.

It works great for me! All my purchases come with a one-year warranty, and it’s really worth it — I would have spent so much more without it. Some items can be exchanged under warranty and they give you a new one, like mice, mouse pads, or headphones. Others are covered under the protection and repair plan, like laptops or Dyson products. 100% recommended if you shop a lot at Best Buy!

I do the protection plan mainly for the high-end cost of items. Protection is more valuable for expensive products where a single repair could cost more than the plan itself, such as major appliances my G.E. CAFÉ for example I wouldnt waste buying on cheap items not worth it, then I'd rebuy it.

Best investment ever! I recently bought a prebuilt computer as a Christmas gift. I brought it in and they were able to set everything up and have it completely ready for Christmas. This is the best additional add on for a Christmas present or any purchase you make!
