Best Buy’s extended warranties have been well worth the small price we pay. Inevitably, there have been occasions with devices, electronics or othered covered items where we need the assistance of the Geek Squad or Best Buy repair service. PROS: The services provided are typically effortless and the issue or problems are resolved to satisfaction. Per the BB guaranty, if the item cannot be repaired they will happily replace it within the warranty period. CONS: Depending on the brand of the item or complexity of the issue, repairs or product inspections can take a long time. It is not often the case, but it can happen with specific brands. Even when repairs or inspections take longer than expected, BB typically maintains good communication and keeps us updated on the repairs progress.

Having the protection on my devices has been a great choice I would not trade it . Makes it easier to get service on repairs

I got when I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro. I'm usually not a fac of extended warranties but for lap tops I've opwned they definatley have paid for themselves. I bopught the Best Buy Total membership with the laptop for this reason. I've bought several other pices of electronics like color lazer printer etc. which are also covered. I haven't used it yet, but it seems to be easy to use if necessary.

I typically dont purchase warranties, protection plans, etc.. I took a chance quite a few years ago on this and it has been toyally worth the money. Not only do i get discounts on many of the purchases, but ive been able to replace quickly and easily things like Xbox controllers when they break/drift (which seems to always happen within the 2-year protection window), i bring my boy's gaming computer in once or twice a year to the Geek Squad to make sure its running at it's optimal capabilities, and knowing everything i purchase is protected (including cell phone purchases). I cant recommend this enough.
