I typically dont purchase warranties, protection plans, etc.. I took a chance quite a few years ago on this and it has been toyally worth the money. Not only do i get discounts on many of the purchases, but ive been able to replace quickly and easily things like Xbox controllers when they break/drift (which seems to always happen within the 2-year protection window), i bring my boy's gaming computer in once or twice a year to the Geek Squad to make sure its running at it's optimal capabilities, and knowing everything i purchase is protected (including cell phone purchases). I cant recommend this enough.

I have purchased the monthly Best Buy Total protection for several years. It has been a great purchase for me and has given me piece of mind on several purchases. It is very easy to return or replace items and the added benefits have come in handy. I would certainly recommend this purchase protection option for older, less tech savvy buyers.

I always get the protection plan, its the best decision you can make after getting your electronics.

My laptop was giving me issues so I took it to the Geeks. They fixed it, but warned me the battery was swollen. I asked about repairing it. They explained that it would not be cost-effective and suggested putting the money into a new investment. I think it was a wise choice.

I purchased this to get a free data transfer and extended apple care on my new laptop. I did not realize I needed to leave both laptops for 3 days for the transfer. It was not possible to work remotely without both computers so I had to make another appointment and drive 1+ hours again for the transfer. I did not notice any difference as all my folders and information was still on my desktop and book marked. It was a blessing.

I brought my 5-year-old CyberPower computer (which ran great) for diagnosis because after windows update nothing would come up on screen. Geek Squad diagnosed the issue and found that the motherboard became unusable. Rather than getting a new motherboard they suggested scrapping it and just get a new one. They also helped me with comparable system which is much faster and better.

We love the total tech protection plan we extended on most of our electronics as our kids tend to break things all the time

My family buys all electronics from Best Buy due to their fair return policy & the Best Buy Protection Plan. It's nice to know any of our devices or appliances are fully covered even past the factory warranty. It gives us peace of mind, so it's worth it.

I love this plan. I've had a few items that have needed to be repaired. They either repaired or replaced the item promptly.
