I was unaware I could get protection on a controller. I guess it's a good thing as these can break. If you are an aggressive gamer I would suggest it!

not good service, I was sold a broken tv as an open box 'good' condition sony oled tv. I will never buy an open box product again, it was broken and I was not able to transport the tv back to the store because I did not have a car it would fit in and it was sold to me without a box, anyway I called sony they said they could not fix the issue it had to be replaced, well geek squad protection doesn't cover replacements, did you know that?s o basically it is worthless, if geek squad can't fix it then you are s out of luck and you are stuck with a broken product well you can guarantee I will not be renewing my total tech status and I have been a member for like 2 and a half years at this point and I used to spend 10-20 grand a year at best buy, i've had such awful experiences at best buy in the last two years I can't believe with how easy and often cheaper it is to buy things on amazon that the last brick and mortar store to sell electronics would be so cavaelier about customer service. but I hate leaving bad reivews but when you think that best buy protection means that no matter what they will figure out how to fix a product they sold to you broken, but then it is not repairable then you are stuck with a 2000 dollar tv that has never worked since day one and it is just an enormous paperweight and worst of all I can't even just throw it in the garbage, I actually have to pay someone to pick it up and I have to pay an expensive recycling fee, it 's quite sad
