Sometimes helpful and other times impossible to get help especially with my dishwasher they somehow can never fix it once and for all and refuse to replace it even under their warranty.

Made me get a membership and still had to pay for the repairs when they said it would be cheaper with the membership and ended up paying more and more money and still didn’t fix it

It’s a scam. They never tell you about the 100.00 bucks you have to fork out to get them to come check out your item.

Geeksquad is a Joke a purchased a Cell phone last year and they asked if I wanted the geek squad protection and I asked what it would cover, I had lost my cell phone at the lake that's why I was making the purchase, the person that was helping me asked what was the reason for replacing my phone so I told him that I had dropped it accidentally at the lake, he said that if I would have had the Best Buy protection that they would have replaced it, so I asked if he was sure about it and he checked in with a manager to double check the information he was giving me, ive had the protection going on my second year since it just renewed, will the day before yesterday I was at the lake and while taking some pictures I accidentally dropped it, so I made the report to Best Buy and they set up an appointment with geek squad and they were very unhelpful and said that that is not covered....called back to customer service and long story short I spent 3 hours on the phone and the people I spoke to since I was transferred to 7 different people trying to figure it out. they mentioned it was covered under ADH accindental damage handling, but when I went back to the counter the person there would not even check the computer for the information that the customer service rep had told me..

It’s always nice to have any product come with an extended warranty.

Always purchased protection with all my devices. I've never had to use it so I can't fairly rate something I've not used. I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
