Many consumer guides say that it isn't necessary to pay for extra protection, because most devices should be built well enough to work for at least two years. That is only true until it isn't - I have been around long enough to know that I don't want to pay for protection I don't need, but when I need it, I wish I had it. With Best Buy's Monthly Protection plan - I get it included with my purchase, and can use it if and when I need it. Perfect!

I purchase a lot of eletronics new and open box, the insurance is great with a no hassel type service nor hoops to get a products serviced or replaced. The installation services are also great.
