This has come in handy on several occasions over the years. No hassles, quick and easy returns and replacements most of the time.

I love having the reassurance that something goes wrong, we are covered.

I purchased the Sony Cybershot in December 2023 and had high hopes for it, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within a month, the camera fell off a tripod (due to wind) and the lens dented. I had purchased Best Buy’s insurance, so I brought it in for repair. Despite paying for insurance, I was charged an additional $80 for repairs, which felt like a complete rip-off. When I got the camera back, the flash never worked—not even once. I returned to Best Buy, and the staff member I spoke to was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of addressing my concerns, he dismissed the camera as “cheap” and “old” (even though I bought it brand new in 2023). To make matters worse, he started showing me photos he had taken on his own Sony camera, as if that would somehow fix my problem. It was completely inappropriate and made me feel unheard and disrespected. The final straw was when he pointed out that the camera was physically falling apart—something I hadn’t even noticed before. He offered no solution except to pay another $80 for repairs, which I refused. The entire experience with Best Buy’s repair service has been frustrating, dismissive, and unprofessional. Their staff clearly doesn’t care about customer concerns, and their repair process is a joke. I would not recommend buying this camera or relying on Best Buy for repairs. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for both products and service.

So far so good… I haven’t had any issues thus far. So to give a truly, really, truly, accurate review…. That could come at a later date.

I was quickly able to replace my damaged drone after I had accidentally damaged it.
