    At first glance, this seems like a good deal, and it certainly can be. But the drawback is that you have to continue your membership; if you were a member when you purchase an item, you should just get the extended warranty without having to continue membership longer than the year. Also, one can’t buy a longer warranty for some reason. I’ve long purchased 5-yr warranties on larger items; max allowed is 2 years in this program. Charge more if you must, but give the option, please! When I have had to use it, I usually do better going to the store versus calling BB.
