Too expensive for the value it provides, in my opinion.

My item has additional protection outside of manufacture warranty just providing additional peace of mind that if anything happens I can possibly get it fixed/replaced

THe old lifetime total tech plan was better. Best Buy is getting cheap

Please note the membership starts on the day you purchase it so if it takes months for delivery that counts as part of the 24 months of coverage! The techs are horribly unprofessional. The dryer tech has not shown up or canceled at the last minute for "not feeling well" over twenty times. The appointments get canceled or disappear, and the dryer has NEVER worked in the two years since delivery. Meanwhile, Best Buy refuses to honor anything.

Very expensive, they discontinued installation which does not make sence. Its a rip off

The 24-month best buy protection is well worth the money, my solar panel for my Ring Camera went bad and this plan provided a replacement at no additional cost to me.

So far, so good! We’ll see what’s to come!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the Total Home Care Protection plan with the understanding it would offer protection for all my Best Buy purchases. I had purchased from Best Buy a double door with freezer/icemaker less than 2 years ago. I called for repair of my Amana refrigerator icemaker, and was immediately informed the icemaker was not covered, and that extra charge for the icemaker was required. I could not find anywhere in the contract that the icemaker, which is an integral part of the refrigerator, was NOT covered. There were no repairs made under this contract. Therefore, I give this warranty policy and Best Buy a thumbs down.

I’d highly recommend getting a protection plan for anything you buy from Best Buy. Or even better, get TotalTech to also get the best prices they have available

This remote opener works perfectly. Never wonder if you closed the garage door or not. Also great way to give other access that you don’t want to give keys to.

A nice benefit to have for large purchases. Outside of that I can't speak for its usefulness.

Havent tried it but hope they fix my products if they break. Atlast it's a piece of mind while i have total tech.

Total tech I highly don’t recommend! Every employee will tell you something different what it covers and what it don’t. I’ve had my pc worked on 3 times and when I got it back it still does the same thing and they supposedly tested my pc. It’s brand new and there trying to now charge me to send it off to get it fixed even know it’s under warranty. I’m lost on what is covered and what isn’t. The employees are nice just everyone has a different answer and again if I’m paying for a warranty why do I gotta still pay to send it off to be fixed when the warranty is still active? Also why are the employees not testing the pc’s like they say they are? Best Buy use to be so much better than this but lately idk what’s going on.

The total tech protection is probably the best thing ever. I was able to protect a few items already and makes Best Buy my one stop shop for electronics

Difficult to reach store directly. Hard to understand tech. Frustrating to constantly have issues.

Wish the trial was longer, but pretty good, id recommend if it was on sales

love the technical support - unless you are having a home burglar alarm system - that service is horribel!
