You always need the coverage for atleast the first 6 months and they are cheap and cover everything.

I paid for the 2 years. I think terms have changed since I signed up. But the help I have received so far, is definitely worth it. It's so nice to be able to have the Geek squad come out and not pay a fortune. To be able to call about a problem and they will talk to you as long as it takes to solve a problem, if they can and did not have to have bought the item at Best Buy. Also, the discounts you get are nice. All worth it.

We could all do with a little peace of mind, especially for those BIG purchases. I’ve lost good deals in the past due to defective equipment after declining coverage. At some point, you realize you NEED to take care of your goods.

We buy frequently at Best Buy so this warranty provides additional protection. Our kids are big into technology and it is important for us to keep everything protected as long as possible.

I'm not much of a techie. I'm an 86 year old woman and a huge fan of the Best Buy Protection that allows me to solve everything from silly computer problems to advice on what t.v. to buy, and even questions about the beautiful LG stove I had. Geek Squad advice keeps me shopping at BB.

I think that the protection plan is worth the cost as it gives confidence that the products are worthwhile and that you are protected as a a consumer.

I'm really glad I bought the Total tech subscription. While it's had its limitations in synchronizing my e-mail accounts, it has paid for itself a few times over in other areas, especially installation of my new dishwasher

its so nice to have someone to call for those pesky computer questions and any computer repair issues. But it also covers the TV and cooktop we purchased. worth it.
