great idea for any lap top or expensive purchase. Had certain keys on my key board go out. Took It in and they replaced the key board no sweat. It is also very nice to not be to savvy and be able to call in and have someone talk me thru what I need or suggest that i bring it in. Overall I was thankful I paid for protection.

Been a paying member for several years. They were always there when I deeded them, either in-store or a home need, The associates were/are always helpful.

Geek Squad, over all, is a great deal. I will not mention being on hold 38 min for the INDIOA based tech support, enough time to return to the store to ask my question and return home....still on hold.

I recently used the protection plan on my Xbox Series X Charge and Play kit that had died, luckily right before the extended warranty ended and replaced it in store no problem. If you're a techie then the BB Total membership is really worth it, almost for the protection plans alone.

Good Best Buy protection plan at no cost to the customer.
