Since my microwave broke 10 days after my one year warranty, luckily i had the best buy warranty. I am in the process of having them replace the microwave. it's costing me $52.00. hopefully the appointment will not be too far out.

I think this is a wise option. More often than not, purchased items break down for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they simply stop working. When I was younger, new things lasted longer than a year with no problems. However, a lot of things become defective after a year or so. Having the Plan gives you worry free use; and they treat you better at the store. (I'm just saying...)
