It’s worth the money to get the protection plan because you’ll never know when you will need it because nothing lasts forever.

I havent had to use it yet. But i love knowing that my stuff is fully protected.

If you’re buying this to fix fundamental problems with your hvac install, remember, your hvac system can only be as good as the installation and components you have to begin with. I purchased these for a high rise floor to ceiling residence that has SW exposure and came with an ecobee lite 3 thermostat positioned on the interior hallway. So that wasn’t a good measurement point for temp and humidity when it has no windows or sun. The only thing adding these sensors will do for you is 1) run your hvac system until the desired temperature is met in one location (but that could mean freezing temps in one room and another room is where you set point is desired) 2) without being pretty technical with the settings you’re not going to see the best results with the sensors as there’s some settings like “follow me”’and occupancy states that will “automate” the temperature perhaps in a way you’re not seeking. These are good for providing for thermostat data points to run your system off the Ecobee main thermostat but can’t actually change airflow so performance is limited. I plan to pair with the Flair smart vents in the rooms that I need to open or close airflow too so that I have a “after the fact” quasi zoned system. Given preference to the rooms where comfort is desired more so that others. With this model; the sensors work with the Ecobee as well as the flair smart vents and puck thermostat (which also have their own sensors so if you’re trying to accomplish the same thing don’t buy this product). I will use the sensors after installing the flair smart vents which provide the same data to Ecobee including temperature and humidity and can actually shut off the airflow or open it. And use the sensors in the main living areas to create more of a balance. I purchased the sensors before the flair vents were compatible and before I knew that my situation would require more than just the remote sensors given the massive solar gain of floor to ceiling high rise glass windows. Perhaps if you have a larger home and just don’t want to buy a second thermostat or install zoning but have access to. These would be a cost effective place to start. For me, I’ve not spent money on the sensors which won’t be rendered useless. But unnecessary knowing what I know now about my system. It’s really 100% individual as to whether you’ll see a benefit from using these or not. I suggest a trial during the return window to make sure it’s not wasted money.

Ok so I’m very big on purchasing electronics but I will not do it without some type of insurance on my products! I love Best Buy and the insurance they provide on my electronics! I you think you do not need it please don’t be frustrated when you purchase high end electronics and don’t have the luxury of having them insured! Will continue to purchase every two years thank you best buy!

Your Totak Tech member value keeps declining. Youbhave removed so many services that were of value to us. Also, you have made it very difficult on your aite to take an appointment with Geek Squad to schedule a service. I dont see amy option to do that any more whek I use your app.

With this protection you need not worry you are covered for just about any circumstance and any kind of accidental damage. You will definitely get your moneys worth. I would honestly say there is no other company that offers protection like this. Please take the time to read all the benefits and if you already have this protection plan read on the stuff you might be missing out it goes in detail I was surprised of other benefits I was not taking advantage of.
