I've have had to use the service plan maybe a dozen times over the past decade. The cool thing is that it is always handled professionally and with one exception, quick. That is a savings of time AND money and to me, makes it worth getting. Of course if you get the Total Tech (like I now have) you get the service plan FOR FREE so you know I'm going for that!

You want this protection plan because you don't want to deal with the manufacturer. You come to buy the best, and as long as it meets the requirements, no questions are asked. I live 5 minutes from BestBuy, making things very easy for me. This protection is not after the manufacturer warranty ends, it is in line with the warranty and it helps speed up the process.

Love the 24 months protection plan. I took this computer and printer to Alabama and gave it to granddaughter . She’s doing online college classes this summer. She has 2 younger brothers. Love the 24 month protection options.

I'm usually clumsy and would crack my screen all the time so this is definitely worth it.

My opinion: buy the plan. I keep my Best Buy Protection Plan. It's been great, the few times I've used it. I feel that it's worth the purchase.

Discounts are always good rating promoters. The discount program and the protection program is very good.

If you shop at Best Buy this is a must. There is no need to purchase warranties with this. For example my sons headset he had for under two years wasn’t working properly and they handed me a new one. No questions asked. There may be some exceptions but I haven’t had any issues yet. Oh and if you buy something that needs installed it’s included.

I find the Protection to be super useful and an extra peace of mind. Probably better and less hassle than a home warranty. Fingers crossed. Haven't had to make any claims so cannot speak to the customer service IF there is a problem. That's the true test.
