I bought my unit in January 2022 and it started intermittently failing just outside the warranty period Feb 2024. I had also purchased a 2 year warranty from best buy. Both best buy and Pioneer refused to honor a courtesy repair because I was outside their warranty period. The issue was a known manufacturer defect with issues on poor soldering connections. I personally will never purchase another pioneer product again given the poor customer experience and lack of accountability. Also why bother buying from a store that continues to sell defective products.

I didn't have to use the warranty but after looking into it I have to say I was very impressed!

Pays for itself in no time. I have been thankful for this perchance a few times.
