The Best Buy protection is horrible when i have an issue with my product its always an excuse the Geek Squad is full if it . They have you to leave your product there and you hace to come pick it up . The response is that the product is fixed and its not fix nor do they replace plese BEWARE of this SCAM

You would be foolish to not take their protection plan

This coverage is a scam. They won't do a straight exchange if your item gets new packaging. I wanted to exchange a broken pair of headphones but they said it was a different product and gave me credits instead... It was the same exact product. They just changed the box, the item inside it was exactly the same as the one I was exchanging. Instead I had to pay to get new coverage on the replacement item even though I had their total membership. Then I had to pay the difference between the price of the original item and the replacement because I bought the original on sale... It shouldn't matter. I just wanted the same exact item. They also said I'd returned something else before and that's why I had to pay for additional coverage. I exchanged a pair of broken Beats Fits Pro earbuds a day after purchasing them. The right earbud was broken straight out of the box. The warranty shouldn't have even kicked in yet! It was still within the initial return window.

Great for 24 month peace of mind at no cost to you.
