So far these cameras work pretty good. The batteries though arent going to last anywhere near the 6 months as advertised.

Works only if you have purchased an item within the 24 month period from Best Buy. My sons IPad screen cracked and was sent out for replacement. A still had to pay a charge of approximately, $50 fee despite having the Best Buy protection plan. The cost of $200 is a bit higher to purchase in one lump some.

Seems like a worthy insurance item to cover all the expensive electronics for the "smart" home

I have come to appreciate Protection Agreements. Things aren't made like they use to be

THIS IS A SCAM. They promise a 2-year protection IF YOU STAY ACTIVE which is at least $200 per year. So $400 for the two-year protection. They sold me $1000 of equipment and told me the warranty was for 2-years for $179, including access to Geek Squad. I thought for $179, this was worth it because Geek Squad help would be a minimum of $149. However, they did not indicate that I would be charged this amount AGAIN in one year.....so nearly $360 on $1000 of purchases, THAT IS 36%....more than APR if you were to finance this. NO SENSE and this is not what I was sold. This is fraud, bait and switch, and truly bad business and customer service. Even the website does not describe clearly the Total Membership. They say you have dedicated customer service which is not true. They have a call center in Panama where there are no Best Buys. I have been a customer for more than 25 years, and while I enjoy actually speaking with humans, it will be more effective through Amazon or ABT, etc... then the awful service of Best Buy. Also, those venues are less expensive.

I purchased this with my new TV and I'm still learning what options I can get with this protection plan.

DO NOT BUY. I was super excited to buy this ring. It worked great for 4 weeks, only having to charge it once a week, starting the 5th week, the battery started draining really fast, not even lasting a full day. Called technical support and after 2hrs of them trying to use troubleshooting steps for galaxy phones, they admitted the ring was too new and they didn't know how to troubleshoot over the phone. It took 2 hours for them to admit to this. The only option was to mail it in, which I did. It sat at Samsung's technical office for an entire week, the service ticket stated noone looked at the actual ring. At the end of the week, they stated that the ring was out of warranty and would cost $370 to fix. The ring is only 6 weeks old and there was no physical damage to it. Over the last week I have spent over 13hrs on the phone and chat messages with Samsung, one call alone lasted over 2 hours in which time I was transferred to 3 different departments and talked to 7 different people... there's no support, no compassion, they just dont care. They are now sending my broken ring back to me. If you do end up buying this ring, pray to go you do not have issues with it. I wouldn't wish this on my greatest enemy.

Not happy with the new cost if you want to have something else installed that's not a new purchase
